Yorkshire Terriers, affectionately known as "Yorkies," offer big personalities in a small package. Though members of the Toy Group, they are terriers by nature and are brave, determined, investigative and energetic. They have long, luxurious blue and tan coats. This portable pooch is one of the most popular breeds according the AKC® Registration Statistics.
Yorkies are easily adaptable to all surroundings, travel well and make suitable pets for many homes. Due to their small size, they require limited exercise, but need daily interaction with their people. Their long coat requires regular brushing.
All my Yorkie pups are AKC registered, started on their vaccinations, and will be checked by my vet for soundness and general health. I offer a 2 year guarantee and will always be available if you have any questions.
Most of my Yorkshire Terrier pups will be 3-6 lbs. full grown, but I do occasionally have larger size pups that are better suited for smaller children. I try my best to match all pups to their new owners in color and temperament.
I have three new puppy socializers pictured below, my grandchildren, and although I have to closely monitor them with the Yorkie pups, all involved have lots of fun.
A famous quote from Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Computers, states, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do."
Missouri has very strict regulations for dog breeders. I am regulated by USDA, the State of Missouri, and in good standing with AKC. At least twice a year I attend educational seminars to learn more about how to raise happy, healthy puppies. I have a great veterinarian and I love raising Yorkies and Cairns.
